Looking for a baby carrier that doesn't hurt your back?  I have the perfect carrier for you!  The Ergo carrier is pricey, but it is the only carrier that you will ever need.  I have tried the bjorn (a bit pricey, itself), and many of the slings, cheaper carriers, etc., but never before have I had a carrier that didn't hurt my back or shoulder, especially when the baby started to pick up the weight.

I often go shopping with all 7 of my kids by myself, so it is nice to keep my 2 year old on my back, knowing he can't get into too much trouble.  Not only that, but he is also very happy on my back!  I am able to put him in the front, back, or even the side.  In addition, the carrier has a hood for nursing, an insert for babies (an additional price), a zipper pouch for keys, sucking pads so the baby doesn't suck on the straps (additional price), and a back pack that attaches (additional price).

For those of you that love organic, they even have one for you!  The carriers are begin at $105, but once you have an Ergo, you will never go back to a plain old carrier.  It is well worth the money, and in my house, a necessity that I will never do without!

I like the Ergo, too; it distributes the baby's weight very well. Check eBay for used ones; many people resell theirs.
