This year I am trying to give all my family members gift of charity.  Sometimes this is difficult for the younger people on my list to understand that some money went a charity and why.  Oxfarm Unwrapped allows you to choose different items in different price ranges, anything from blankets, children's books, and medical supplies, to a spinning wheel or house on stilts.  You can personalize a card to go to the person receiving the gift that will also have a picture of the gift and explain the difference it will make in the life of someone who really needs it.  The company then takes the money and uses it to buy that item for villagers who need it.  I had fun picking out somewhat personalized gifts, like a stove that will go to a woman so that she doesn't have to gather firewood in a violent area for my sister who likes to cook.  And I got my brother who is always bringing up difficult topics a can of worms for a farmer and his garden.  Giving these gifts can make you and at least a couple other people feel great!
