This website was designed by two mothers of special needs children.  They wanted to create a place where parents and caregivers of those with special needs could easily find helpful resources and network with each other.  The site includes a variety of resources, allows users to swap information and provides a place to discuss special needs related issues.  

The site originated with a focus on resources in Texas and some of the information is location specific.  But, you can find helpful information regardless of where you reside.  Additionally, the site has expanded recently to include other states, such as Atlanta, Louisiana, New Hampshire and New York.  A recent article in the Austin American Statesman provides additional details about the site.  Anyone who is involved in the life of someone with special needs should check out this site.
