If you're thinking about changing jobs or on an active job search, definitely try out the job search site Indeed.com. It really makes your life easier if you're looking for a new job. Indeed is a free search engine for jobs that searches millions of employment opportunities from thousands of websites. It includes job listings from major job boards, newspapers, associations and company career pages - and they add new sites every day. It has a very simple google type search as well as more advanced search features too. A nice search feature is the ability to monitor all jobs at a particular company. You can browse all jobs by Title, Company, State, and Category too! See some great Indeed.com job search tips here. One of the best parts is its saved searches - you can have them delivered to you by email or via RSS feed. I find them much better than the Monster.com email alerts. It also lets you save jobs you have found with MyIndeed. Additionally, Indeed also has Job Trends Info, Forums and a pretty good Salary tool. The WSJ's Walt Mossberg calls it "Simply a one-stop shop for job seekers." Check it out!

I am in the Human Resources field and I have recently become unemployed. While Indeed.com may be a handy tool for some -- the information on this site is usually dated -- many jobs that are posted are old and sometimes already filled.
Oftentimes, our HR department would receive inquiries for openings that were closed 2 months prior -- and when asked where they saw it they'd reply, "But it was just posted on Indeed.com today!" I had to convince them that the position was filled.
In my own job hunting experience, I have found that the local job boards are the best for up-to-date job postings. (the Phoenix area has Jobing.com) The County, State and Federal job search sites are always up-to-date, as well.
