Have you ever organized a schedule of dinner deliveries for a friend who just had a baby? It can be confusing to set it all up via email. A great free website called Food Tidings can help you set up a schedule of meals for friends and family in need. It is very simple and works great.
You simply register as an organizer, then set up the schedule with all kinds of information:
- date range or specific days/dates,
- address & contact info (with map links!)
- food allergies
- food likes & dislikes
- time when the meals should be delivered
- how many children & adults need to be fed
- any other information that may be useful
And then invite people to cook via email! If you end up getting more volunteers after the first email goes out, you can always invite more folks to cook later as well. People sign up for specific days to bring meals and enter in the meal they expect to bring so the family doesn't end up with 29 lasagnas! :) It's a great way to streamline helpers for those in need! Highly Recommended!
