Here's what we had for dinner tonight-meat pie pinwheels. I adapted the recipe from 3 different ones I read online. Take ground meat (I use turkey) and brown. Season any way you like. I did a little Mexican seasoning, and added fried corn and cheddar cheese shreds. You could do Italian style with garlic and onion and mozarella, or you could do American with ketchup, mustard, pickles and American cheese. Whatever you like. Take two Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts (one package), and lay out on wax paper. Cover the crust with the meat mixture. Roll up like cinnamon rolls, and cut into 1 1/2 inch slices. Lay slices into a casserole, edges touching, face up so you can see the pinwheel. Bake about 20 minutes at about 450 degrees. You could top with salsa, ketchup or marinara if it's too dry after you take it out of the oven. Enjoy!
