I came across an article the other day in "This Old House" magazine that had 10 uses for an everyday item.  Access the whole archive at this website and find great things to do with household items that you never thought of.  Like using old magazines to line drawers, or a jeans pocket to hold pencils and pens.  These ideas will even have you coming up with some of your own!
