This is an easy craft that’s fun for kids. Lakeshore Learning carries foam picture frames that kids can decorate and put a picture behind. The frames will fit a 4 by 6” picture, and they are adhesive-backed, so you just stick the picture to it. The frames also come with tons of foam shapes that are also adhesive-backed, which can be used to decorate the frames. This kit comes with 30 frames, and my daughter has had fun using them to make gifts for relatives. We put a picture in it, line the back of the frame with heavy construction paper, and then glue craft magnets to the back so they can be put on the refrigerator. You can also use your own collage items to decorate it, and we often use seasonal foam shapes, like snowmen for winter or flowers for spring. She also likes to put small drawings inside them. They are great for playdates, too.
