I just walked in the door from Longhorn Steakhouse. I don't eat meat, and I really don't appreciate Bambi hanging on the walls in steak restaurants, so I was shocked at how much I adored my delectable dinner tonight! First, my cocktail was perfect-not very common these days. Then, our appetizer was marvelous. We had lobster and shrimp cheesy dip with tortilla chips. My husband loved his filet with portabellos, and I was in love with my fried chicken salad with mandarin oranges and spicy pecans, topped with warm cornbread chunks. I love fried chicken, boneless wings and chicken fingers, and I think these was my favorite chicken I've ever had. I don't know how they made it so light and crispy. OK, I've rambled on enough.
