Here's a fun Valentines Day idea to surprise and delight your kids this year. I've been doing fun stuff on Valentines Day for a few years just to remind my kids how special they are to me and how much I love them and they really eat it up...literally!
For a special Valentines Breakfast, start be decorating your table. Get a red or white table cloth and then decorate it by cutting hearts of all different sizes out of construction paper. Set them around the table.
For breakfast, make pancakes or french toast in the shape of hearts - you can use a heart shaped cookie cutter to do this. Add some whipped cream to make it extra special. To complete your Valentines Day breakfast, make strawberry smoothies and serve them in wine or champagne glasses topped wtih whipped cream and a few candy hearts. Add a few fresh strawberries for breakfast and you are set.
Last, write a special note to each of your children letting them know that you love them and they'll always be your valentine.
You can easily get creative with this Valentines Day idea - the whole point is to make it special for your kids! They all love feeling like they are special to you and I know my kids appreciate any opportunity for a "party" even if it's only a breakfast party!
