I'm a sucker for all kinds of gadgets, and this drink coaster that is also a night light is right up my alley.  My husband and I both bring a glass of water to bed with us each night. Nearly every night, one of us manages to knock our water off of our night stand, and more often than not, the water ends up all over the bed. 

A friend of mine had one of these cool coasters, and I had to have one for myself (and my husband!) Basically, you set a glass of water on it. When you move your hand, a motion sensor detects your movement and turns a light on, illuminating the glass so it doesn't get knocked onto the floor, or the bed!  

This motion sensor night light is a lot of fun and it helps to keep drinks where they belong after dark.  It's also a great gift idea for someone who has everything but enjoys gadgets.  It's also great to use when watching movies in a dark room.
