I am a big fan of all Apple's products. We use Mac computers, I use the iPhone, my kids have iPods as opposed to other mp3 players, but my favorite Apple product by far is the Apple TV.  

I'm not sure if my kids are the only ones who ruin DVD's, but it seems like DVD's around my house are constantly either dissapearing or getting scratched.  I had heard about Apple TV for awhile, but was hesitant to spend $325.00 for what looked like a little box.  However, as I threw away broken DVD's and empty DVD cases for what seemed like the 100th time, I finally gave in and ordered one. I'm so glad I did!

First, and most important, you can order any movie or television show that is on iTunes. They have thousands of movies and televisions shows, and it's usually cheaper to buy them from iTunes than it is to purchase them in DVD format.  Once you own the movie or television show, you can also watch it on your computer, iPod, or iPhone. This was a huge selling point for me.  

The Apple TV hooks up to your computer and it allows you to view photos, home movies, and music that's stored on your computer.  We have a small home business and do presentations for potential clients.  We can actually transfer presenation from our computer to our Apple TV and then show them to potential clients.  

If you (or your kids) love You Tube, you have full access to You Tube right on your television.  

Overall, this is one of the best products in Apple's entire line-up...and I use them all!  If you're sick of broken or lost DVD's, check out the  Apple TV.
