If you've got a website or a blog that you write in an effort to earn money online, chances are that you are always looking for new ways to promote it. 

One easy, free, and fun way to promote your place on the web - and to possibly make a little extra money doing it - is on Xomba.  Xomba is a content-bsaed website. They allow members to sign up and post Xombytes (magazine article type writing) or Xomblurbs (short articles to promote another site). 

Here's how to use Xomba to promote your blog or website:

1. Sign up for Xomba.

2. Once you've signed up, enter your Adsense publisher ID. If you have a blog or website, chances are you are using Adsense already.  Go to your adsense account and copy/paste your publisher ID into Xomba. They share revenue 50/50 with their users, so ads associated with your adsense account will appear 50% of the time.  

3. Update your profile with a photo and some information about your interest.  Since Xomba is part social-networking, you want people with the same interests as you to be able to find you.

4. Add Xomblurbs to promote a blog post or new webpage.  For example, if you just posted a blog on choosing flowers for your garden, you can post a Xomblurb that gives a brief overview of flower selection and then directs readers to visit your blog for more information.  

5. Publish your Xomblurb.  

Posting on Xomba isn't going to make you a millionaire and it's not going to get thousands of new visitors to your website or blog, however, they take only a few minutes to write and they can be effective at bringing visitors who are already interested in what you write about to visit your little corner of the internet. The fact that they share profits is an added bonus.  I don't know anyone whose making big money from the revenue sharing portion of the site, but I do know people who are seeing increased traffic and even a few dollars a month as a result of their posts.
