When I was a kid, I loved to play the Clue Board game. I used to do chores around the house so that I could bribe my mom to play it with me. In recent years, we seem to have gotten away from playing board games, but I picked up a few last year when we moved into a subdivision that didn't have cable TV and the wait to get satelite service hooked up was 2 months.
I thought it would be fun to introduce my kids to all my childhood favorites, like Clue and Sorry. I was so excited when I found the Clue DVD Game, it looked like a great new twist on an old game.
If it's possible, I love this edition even more than I liked the regular Clue board game. The DVD comes with a bunch of different cases and you can also set it to come with random cases. You can ask the inspector questions, get secret clues, and the butler walks you through the whole case. The best thing is that you don't need a DVD player to use this version - you can also play it just like you used to play Clue years ago.
The box says that the game is for kids, ages 10 & up, but my 7-year old often plays with us and does quite well, with only minimal assistance.
If you love the Clue board game, be sure to check out the Clue DVD Game.
