Cleaning Greasy Pans with Old Dryer Sheets

I used to scrub and scrub and scrub those greasy pots and pans.  Now, I just put a used dryer sheet in the pan with water (I add a tiny bit of dish soap) and let it sit for a while.  It lifts the gunk out really well.

You can then use the dryer sheet to scrub out what's still sticking and it'll come right off.  Give it a try.  It saves a lot of time and effort.

I've been wondering what I can do with those used dryer sheets! I can't wait to try using them!

Thanks for that tip, I'm going to have to try it, I know that used dryer sheets work well for the rings in the bath tubs after my grandkids get out !!

I knew about this tip -- thanks for sharing it with everyone! It works really, really well. I keep an empty kleenex box by my dryer to store the "used" dryer sheets until I recycle them while washing dishes :-)
