I was looking for a baby rattle recently to add to a gift for a baby shower that I was going to and came across this list of wooden baby rattles. 

I was excited to see that baby rattles are available in wood again. I've been into wooden toys recently because they are often much higher quality than plastic and they are also far more eco friendly. Lots of petroleum is used in the production of plastic and it tends to break much faster than wood.  

I ended up buying one of the Sassy Earth Bright rattles from the review and loved the way it looked.  Even though I only spent about $10 for this add-on to my shower gift, it didn't look cheap at all.
