Here are four great ideas for using old sheets, perfect for the reduce, reuse, recycle philosophy. Here is a quote from the article: "Let the kids tie dye or fabric paint the sheet. Paint a tic tac toe board or checkers grid on it or draw a table scene to use for picnics or randomly paint it to use as a colorful indoor fort."

We would take our old white or any light colored sheets and hang them over the fence on a warm day. give the kids in bathing suits or old t shirts spray bottles of colored ( with paint or food coloring) and let them "Spray" on graffiti on to teh sheets. once the kids are done let the sheets dry and fold them they are good to use for picnics or other outdoor or indoor activities that need a floor or ground cover. if the color washes out ( launder septately or with like items) simply hang it up to paint again.. as many times as needed.
