As I try to become more "green" and eco friendly, I'm making the choice to only buy eco friendly toys for my kids. This hasn't always gone over very well since I've started saying no to things like Barbie Dolls and other mainstream toys that I know aren't good for the environment.

My five year old has been bugging me for a toy baby doll and I've been putting it off because I know that vinyl isn't the best option and almost all dolls are made with vinyl.

They are made with phlalate-free vinyl which was enough to get me to buy one for my daughter - and she's happy with me again!
