This craft is extra special! Perfect for this time of year as a loving gift.

 What you need:

1 small clay flowerpot

Paint pens, stickers, magazine clippings of animals or flowers

Glue

Soil and flower seeds

Small card to attach to flowepot with ribbon to match

Clear acrylic spray

 What to do:

Give your child a miniature clay flowerpot and a variety of art supplies for decorating their flowerpot. After they finished decorating, spray the pot with clear acrylic and let dry. Then have the child fill their pot with potting soil and add a few fast growing seeds. Place the flowerpots in a sunny spot. Once the flowers have bloomed, complete the project by making a gift tag; and sign their name. Have the child color and cut out tag. Use ribbon to attach tag around flowerpot.

We have painted a clay pot every year since my oldest was born! We always get the same size pot and give one to each grandparent! They love having them, and we love making them!
