Tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. Boston will officially start preparing for the big July 4th celebration:  The Boston Pops on the Esplanade rehearsal because the 4th is about food, but is nothing without some great music and the city gathering around the Hatch Shell. 

Hopefully, by 7:00 pm on July 3rd, you have already planned your menu, shopped for your ingredients, or at very least picked up the order you placed several days ago.  If not, here's a recap of where to get your July 4th food and a few inspirational recipes.

As for the weather we've been having, it is a great excuse to bake things from scratch and turn on that oven.  Hey, you might even want to roast some marshmallows on an open fire (safely).
