As you may have heard over the 4th of July weekend, the crown of the Statue of Liberty reopened to the public BUT only a limited number of people can get in each day. Want to know an easy shortcut way to get inside the stone crown that overlooks the harbor welcoming newcomers to the USA?

Visit this website on how to make reservations for the day you want to travel. Yes, this does take planning but it's worth it.  If you want to teach your children about the history of the Statue of Liberty but may not be able to travel to New York City this year, there's a link to take a virtual tour.

In about two years the Statue will be closed to the public entirely for further renovations so try to visit if you can!

WARNING: It can get EXTREMELY HOT inside of the statue in July and August...particularly for small children. Just a heads up!
