Today we had a wonderful time on the 2 1/2 hour lighthouse cruise around Cape Ann, beginning in Gloucester, MA. We were expecting a typical harbor cruise boat, which we have enjoyed in many cities, including Boston and New York. But this was a small, family owed boat which only held about 40 people. We were a little worried at first, in fact. The bathroom was sized for a fairy, and the snack bar was a medium sized ice chest on the floor. But it turned out to be wonderful! We enjoyed every minute of the cruise, including the interesting and humorous narration by the boat operator and his wife. I highly recommend this cruise. They also run a whale watch cruise.
