In the August 2009 edition of Prevention Magazine, an Iranian study warns that people who drink tea too hot (2 minutes after it's been poured) are 5 times more likely to develop esophageal cancer than people who let it sit for at least 4 minutes. Waiting an extra two minutes is an easy way to help reduce your risk of this disease- especially if you're an avid tea drinker!
