Last week we went to The Blueberry Farm on Rt. 14 in Hanson for one of our summer playgroup outings. What a great place! The blueberries were huge!
The farm had tons of bushes to pick from. They had a few picnic areas out back and a big grassy area to enjoy as well. We were told we were welcome to bring a picnic lunch if we came back. There was even a porta potty there, which is great if you're picking with children.
The owners were the ones working there and they were very nice. I believe they charged $2.25 per pint and I went home with over 5lbs of berries that day! Definitely worth the trip!
They recommend calling ahead for the picking conditions...the day we were they opened at noon because the grounds were wet but they let us pick anyways. They opened at 8am most days until 6 I think. They do supply your picking pails and have bags to take your picks home in as well!
