Removing Sticky Residue from Hair

You know those sunscreen sticks to use for your face?  My 3 1/2 year old daughter decided to use it all over her hair and it was gross.  With it's waterproof, waxy substance, her hair looked greasy, sticky and clumpy.  It was still the same way after 2 regular shampoos so after doing some searching online, here is what I did to get her hair back to normal.

I decided to do a vinegar rinse in her hair since it is an all natural substance and was recommended for removing residue. Use 2/3 cups of vinegar and mix it with 1/2 cup of water.  I poured it on her hair and let it soak for about 10 mins or so but next time I'd try for 15 mins for a more thorough job. I rinsed it out then shampoo with a really good clarifying shampoo.  It worked very well.
