I just found out about Twilight Wish Foundation. It is similar to Make A Wish, which grants wishes to seriously ill children. Twilight Wish is for senior citizens, who have worked all their lives giving back to the community, and who have a wish before they die. Some of the wishes really tug at your heartstrings, like a woman who has been writing poetry all her life wants to have them published, or a woman who needs new dentures because her old ones hurt. Some of them are a little less urgent. You can sign up to make a wish for a senior you know, you can give a general donation or you can grant a specific wish.
