Every year there is a hot air balloon race held in Reno,NV which is about a half hour drive from where we live.  The boys love it! 

This year we made our own hot air balloon using tissue paper and glue sticks with the directions here.  I didn't get any pics of making them, but here are some pics of us testing it out.  The boys LOVED it!
