Hi there everyone!! Here is another "Frugal Recipe both in time and in money"!! If you freeze your ground beef and your cheese, this is the perfect recipe to make from your stockpile!! All ingredients can easily be stored and bought when found on sale at the "rock bottom" price to make this meal a very affordable home-cooked dish! As we say here at Frugal Living And Having Fun..."It is better than fast food"!!

(Makes 10 servings)
1lb. extra lean ground beef
1 medium-sized onion, chopped
1 medium-sized green bell pepper, chopped
17-oz. can whole-kernel corn, drained
4 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
11-oz. jar salsa
5 cups dry medium egg noodles, cooked
28-oz. can low-sodium diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup low-fat shredded cheddar cheese

~ Brown ground beef and onion in nonstick skillet over medium heat. Transfer to slow cooker.
~ Top with remaining ingredients in order listed.
~ Cover. Cook on low 4 hours.
