The makers of Tylenol are voluntarily recalling certain lots of its Children's and Infants' Tylenol liquid products.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a unit of Johnson & Johnson, is recalling specifically the products made between April 2008 and June 2008 because of concerns about one of the inactive ingredients in the product.

The notice posted on the Tylenol.com web site says, "the company is implementing this voluntary recall at the warehouse and retail levels, because examination of one of the inactive ingredients did not meet internal testing requirements. However, the packaged product, shipped to retailers by the company, has met all specifications."

It notes that the recall does not include "meltaways."

If you have any of the products that may be affected and have questions, they ask you to call McNeil Consumer Call Care Center at 1-800-962-5357 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST Monday-Friday.

If you've given this product to your child and have concerns, McNeil says you should call the child's doctor.

A full list of the recalled products is at www.tylenol.com. Have the medicine box or bottle on hand to determine the lot numbers on the bottom of the box or the sticker that surrounds the bottle.
