In an effort to teach my daughter about money counting and coin recognition, I came across The Money Instructor. This site allows parents/teachers to both print out worksheets or set up interactive money lessons for their child. The site features such lessons as basic money skills, counting money, making change and even how to write a check - for the older child. I was very impressed with the online interactive lessons which are very user friendly, not to mention the countless other topics covered included education on investing, spending, credit cards and careers in the financial industry. Whether you are trying to increase your teen's financial literacy or just reviewing elementary money skills with your young child - this site has it all! Please note however, you do have to create a log in, which provides you with a basic membership - this allows you to create worksheets and use the interactive tools. Don't know what a full membership entails but see the site for further info!
