Boiling water kills weeds!  I heated up my electric tea kettle in the garage, using the garden hose to fill it several times with water.  Viola!  I poured the boiling water on the weed growing in the cracks of my driveway and the next day they were withered and dead.  Much cheaper and safer than Round up!
