Today I had to use some WD-40 to fix a sticky keyhole, and I started wondering what other uses it might have since I was in handyman mode. Off to the google where I discovered this site and some amazing applications. There are six pages of suggestions such as keeping your shoes waterproof, or using it to loosen zippers. I tried the suggestion on removing an adhesive price sticker that's been on the bottom of the glass measuring pitcher for years. Evidently the WD-40 dissolves the adhesive so all you need to do is scrape it off once it sits for a few minutes. I waited five. Guess what, it worked. Supposedly WD-40 is also good for pre-treating blood and other stains such as lipstick, dirt, grease and ink. I'll have to give that a try.
