My daughter's each came home from school today with an amazing Gratitude Jar.  I must say, it's the best thing I've seen in a long time from art class!

The Gratitude Jar is decorated with beautiful seasonal paper....with a cute bow.  Inside the following directions were provided:

1. place jar in a central location in your home (kitchen table).

2. Place paper and pencil next to the Gratitude Jar.

3. Invite family members and guests to write what the're grateful for on a piece of paper and insert in the jar.  Do this as many times as desired.

4. Read the papers at Holiday dinners or whenever the family is together.

I can't wait to do this during Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!

Another idea is to have a guest book at the door. When guest come over they can write whatever they would like to write. It is a great memory and fun to read as people come and go from the house. Kim S.
