If you and/or your kids enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, here's a great free online site that offers an extensive gallery of images for all levels. You just pick the topic or image that you like, then select the number of pieces you want, as few as 6 and up to 247 and the type of cut, classic, wavy, round and so on. I tried one that had the pieces cut in the shape of birds. It certainly offered a different challenge. If you are feeling ambitious, try the 91 piece lizard shapes.
There are nature scenes, animals, classic art, ocean life and so on. When you click on a category, for example, nature scenes, you'll be offered a selection of beaches, mountains, waterfalls, winter scenes and so on. It's a great way to entertain yourself or the kids for an hour or so, maybe even more.
