How to preserve family recipes

Publish your own cookbook!  My family did this in 1996, so I know I'll always have a copy of my grandmother's famous recipes for cinnamon rolls and popcorn squares (or my uncle's recipe for deer salami, in the unlikely event I ever find myself with a bounty of venison).  The cookbook doesn't have to be fancy. Ours was just a relatively plain blue cover with our recipes typed inside. My copy has been well used over the past decade. This is something I'll always cherish.

You can also publish cookbooks as a group fundraiser.

This is a great idea. There are many printing companies that provide amazing services for self-publishing like Adebooks in Lowell that help you from start to finish.
