In Jackson NH -  Good place for breakfast - Yesterday's good place to go everyone pancakes are very big - everything is freshly made very good.  http://www.sarahsyesterdays.com/

Another place to go for breakfast/lunch is Glen Junction -  try to get there early.  They have a playroom upstairs for the kids while you wait (toys & video games) - they also have a train tracks above you while you are eating your breakfast.  http://www.glenjunction.com/

If you are interested in bbq or ribs than the place to go is Moats Mountain - they have a good kids menu and they seem to stick all the families in the same area.   http://www.moatmountain.com/

We just returned and stayed at the BW Red Jacket inn what a place for familys with the 14,000 sq ft water park attached. The hotel was so nice and family oriented their morning brunch was wonderful a buffet with fresh fruit, home made pastries and everything from waffels to pancakes with all the fixings plus an omlet station rooms were spacious clean and the mountain views were amasing.

Why is this listed as Baltimore Maryland. It is not in the area?

We also love the Red Fox restaurant in Jackson. It is about a mile past Story Land on the left hand side. We try to get there early (5:00 p.m.) to beat the dinner crowd. However, if you do have to wait, there is a great movie room for the kids or playroom for toddlers to keep them entertained. The menu is huge with lots to choose from. My personal favorite is the terry glazed sirloin skins! To die for! I get them as my meal with a salad. : ) You just have to try this restaurant! http://www.redfoxpub.com/index.html
