If you're looking for something different to do on a summer Saturday night, take a trip to Providence to see Waterfire.  See the Boston Central info on Waterfire here.  We have friends who raved about it and now it's on our schedule later this summer.  It looks so cool for families as well as a date night for parents.  It tends to start in May and go thru October on alternating Saturday nights at dusk.
