Picking berries with young kids
Ages:
General Interest
By:ylj

Recently we went blueberry and raspberry picking with our 4 year old and 18 month old daughters.  Knowing that the orchards are hard to navigate with a stroller, we used our wagon to pull them through and it also helped with holding our items.  Also since our kids love to eat berries, we knew that they would want to eat some right there at the orchard.  Luckily we have small plastic cups with matching lids and I filled one with water and whenever my kids picked some berries that they wanted to eat right away, we would put the berries in the cup of water to wash them off and they were ready to eat.
