My daughter and I really enjoy The Kids Place.  You can do plaster crafts where you paint and they sparkle it for you, but you can also do ceramic crafts.  You leave your finished product there, and they fire it for you, and it’s dishwasher and microwave safe.  The finished ceramic pieces are bright and colorful, and they have all sorts of items like mugs, cookie jars, platters, and jewelry boxes.  The thing I’m going to try myself sometime is the mosaic craft.  You can leave it and they will grout it for you, and the finished pieces they had looked amazing.  They also do tie-dye tee shirts.
