Lee and Low is a children’s book publisher that specializes in multicultural themes, which they define as books that children of color can identify with, but that all children can enjoy.  They saw that most multicultural books for kids out there focused on folklore and animal tales, which I think is true, and wanted to make books about contemporary stories.  Their books cover African, Asian, Native American, Latino and Middle Eastern cultures.  They also have many Spanish versions of their books.  Check out their online catalog.
