The Patriot Trail Girl Scouts' Camp Menotomy has Family Camping Weeks during the summer and are very popular for young brownies and girl scouts and their families.  Trying camping out for the first time is fun with Camp Menotomy's five platform tent units, one cabin unit, cots, mattresses, bathrooms, washstands and pavilions with refrigerators.  Right on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, you can participate in tons of camp activities:Swim, learn to canoe and take off for a lake adventure; catch a fish; play amazing parachute games, try new arts and crafts activities like bead making, tie dying or silk screening; sing around the campfire and cook s’mores; check out the constellations; learn to shoot a bow and arrow (age 9 and above); work out a nature puzzle; and meet lots of new friends.  Many friends have gone camping for the first time at Camp Menotomy and had a blast.  They have Mother / Daughter and Dad & Daughter weekends [$75/per person includes meals!] as well as Family Camping weekends.
