This is week long camp that uses biotechnology to solve a "Whale Mystery". Middle school age students spend 3 days in a college lab using biotechnology to figure out what species whale meat they are given. The group researches this type of whale and give a presentation on the last day. In the middle of the week they participate in a whale watch out of Plymouth Harbor. The students work in groups of 3 which enables them to meet new kids and work as a team. It is offered 2 different weeks in July. It runs about $250 and there are some scholarships available.
