If your child is interested in cooking, or you want to spark that interest, check out the Culinary Institute of America's (CIA) website for kids called : CIAKids.com. Among the website's missions:

• foster creativity and encourage young people to have fun in the kitchen and
• serve as an educational resource for parents and teachers of aspiring young chefs.

They have great printable cookbooks for kids, puzzles, word searches, games, tons of recipes, culinary math (fractions, percentages, units of measure, etc) and great fun food projects!  Check it out, this is a fun, educational site.
