Irvine Regional Park is home to the Irvine Park Railroad which hosts regular and holiday themed rides through the park. We love forward to this every year - especially the Christmas Train which includes a ride through the holiday lights to see Santa. Currently the park is hosting a pumpkin patch with hayrides, face painting and haunted house among other seasonal activites. The park is also home to the Orange County Zoo. It is a great place for a family picnic or birthday party but go early because this park can definitely get crowded.
