| +3 | Compassionate Friends: Support for Grieving Parents |
The Compassionate Friends organization has been created specifically for parents who are coping with the death of a child, as well as for those who want to support friends / family who are coping with this issue. They offer an on-line support community, national chapters as well as links to other grief resources. Additionally, their informational brochures provide concrete ways you can support your family member / friend during their grief and loss. They also offer tips in how to assist surviving siblings as well as how to help if you are a teacher, police officer, clergy or counselor. This is an invaluable resource for grieving parents and those that love them.... Comments
This the best web site and in person they are all nice and warm welcoming you into there program. My son died when he was 2 years old and they were there for me and my husband and even for my daughter who was having a hard time dealing with this. At that time my other daughter was 6 months old I had to take care of her. And they helped me through it all..Jillk
