I stumbled upon this website totally by accident. I was looking for writing by teens to share with my students and found Teenink.com. What I like about teenink.com is the clean positive attitude it possesses. The stories are personal and upfront without being gritty or vulgar.
I am intrigued by the short-stories, which come from the brilliant minds of the websites loyal readers and contributors. Of course I am hoping that this site will inspire some of my up and coming writers and poets to share their works one day as well. Until then, I will keep my class entertain with the funny, sad, Gothic and off the wall work that this wonderful website has to offer.
Currently in my English class we are reading the following stories published on teenink.com:
DAD, by Sean C.
The Light of God, by Christopher B.
First Things First, by Robin Y.
Long Distance Calls, by Lee C.
Curiosity Killed that Cat, by Amalia L.
If your tween or teen is showing a keen interest in writing, have them check out this site, it just might inspire them to pen great things
