As a single parent of one on a budget, I am always on the look out for a great deal. When my son was about 6 months old, a friend told me about Once Upon a Child - gently used children's clothing store. The great thing about these stores is that they have wonderful clothes at out-a-site prices, and you can also take in items your child has outgrown and sell/trade them for new digs. They also have baby strollers, beds, jumpers and a host of toys that are all cleanly packaged.

The stores are always busy, especially on the weekend. Lucky stay at home Moms you have a better chance at getting in and out of there through the week. Working Moms like me, well lets just say on the weekends you can drop the clothes you want to sell off at the counter and have lunch, grocery shop or spend some quality time with the kids.
