We went to see the new Disney movie "Enchanted", and enjoyed it very much. The story is about an fairytale princess who is about to marry her prince, but the prince’s evil stepmother (of course) intervenes and sends the princess through a wormhole that leads to New York City. Imagine what would happen if a Disney princess found herself in today’s world, and you have this movie. The script is clever and kept both me and my husband entertained, as well as our daughter. It’s rated PG, and there were two scenes that are potentially frightening to children - one near the beginning involving a huge troll, and one at the end with a huge dragon. If you think your children can handle a few scary scenes, it’s a great family movie.
