If you're saving for college (or thinking about starting) using a 529 Plan, take a look at this 529 savings credit card from Fidelity. It contributes 1.5% of your purchases into your Fidelity 529 Plan (up to $1,500 per year!) with no annual fee. If you or your spouse travels for work a lot (and gets reimbursed for a lot of the credit card bills), funnel all your work charges through this card and help pay for college!
Citibank also has a 529 credit card connected with UPromise. It contributes 1% of purchases up to $300 per year with no annual fee. It also offers bonus savings of 10% on specific grocery and drugstore items as well as at certain restaurants. You also get 2% more on gas purchases at Exxon Mobil. It might not sound like a lot, but it adds up fast!
I highly recommend both credit cards if you pay off your balances each month and are saving for college via 529 plans.
