I just found out that some of you out there do not know about cotton sleep gloves. My mom had them, so I grew up thinking everyone knew about them. Anyway, they sell cotton gloves meant to moisturize your hands over night. Just slather on a thick layer of your favorite hand cream, and pull on the gloves and go to sleep. Around February, when my hands start to look exactly like my pocketbook leather, I skip the hand cream and put on a quarter inch of Vaseline under my gloves. They are hard to clean, so I usually buy the cheapest ones and throw them out. They sell socks for the same purpose, and they are lovely, but I usually just grab a pair of white tube socks from my husband to use instead.
